Participation forms store the information visitors choose to submit for Foundation follow-up. Donation payment details are handled by Stripe, and the future Brave Box medical questionnaire remains disabled.
Public participation forms are securely organized for Foundation follow-up.
The general Contact, Volunteer, Community Partner, and Corporate Sponsor forms store the information a visitor chooses to submit in the Foundation’s protected administration portal. Optional partner or sponsor logos are stored outside the public website folder and are not displayed unless the Foundation later approves and publishes the organization.
Use and access
Submitted information is used for the specific communication, volunteer, partnership, or sponsorship request selected by the visitor. Access is limited through individual authenticated staff accounts and role-based permissions.
Submission retention and deletion
The Foundation’s formal retention and deletion schedule for submitted forms still requires Board approval. Until that policy is finalized, submitted records remain protected in the administration system and may be archived rather than publicly displayed. Questions or deletion requests may be sent to the Foundation email below.
Optional website analytics
Analytics collection is off unless the Foundation enables it and a visitor selects “Allow analytics.” If allowed, the site measures pseudonymous visits, sessions, page views, coarse device type and browser family, referral host, campaign parameters, landing and exit pages, selected link clicks, form outcomes, calendar additions, successful share actions, and downloads.
Analytics does not store IP addresses, raw browser user-agent strings, names, email addresses, form field contents, medical information, payment-card or bank information, or full referrer URLs. Random browser identifiers are converted to one-way hashes on the server. Analytics is retained for the period shown in the consent notice, currently configured to default to 180 days, and expired records are deleted automatically. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are honored when that protection is enabled.
Future Brave Box requests
The Brave Box questionnaire remains disabled until the Foundation authorizes launch. When opened, photo, video, child-story, and fundraising-link permissions are optional and do not affect a child’s eligibility. The system records each selection—including an unanswered optional permission—along with the exact consent-language version presented, parent or legal guardian authorization, typed electronic signature, email address, and server-recorded date and time. These records remain associated with the Brave Box request and are available only to authorized Foundation staff.
Donations and Stripe
Donation checkout is embedded from Stripe. Complete card and bank-account numbers are entered into Stripe’s secure payment form and are not stored in this website’s database. The Foundation stores the donor name and email supplied at checkout, contribution amount and date, donation frequency, optional $2 donation amount, Stripe transaction references, payment status, refund status, and receipt link for accounting, acknowledgment, support, and fraud-prevention purposes.
The Optional $2 Donation is selected by default and appears separately in the donation summary. It goes directly to the Foundation to cover the processing fees for each donation and is received, controlled, and retained entirely by the Foundation. A monthly donor who leaves it selected adds $2 to each monthly contribution. Donors can remove it before checkout. After Stripe confirms a successful one-time or recurring donation, the website may send a branded donation acknowledgment from info@bravelikeremington.org and record its delivery status. Store orders
Store purchases are processed through Stripe. The Foundation stores the buyer’s name and email, purchased quantity, order total, payment and refund references, delivery selection, shipping address when supplied, and fulfillment notes to process and fulfill orders and provide support. Full payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored in the website database. Store orders are separate from donation records and do not receive the donation-only acknowledgment.
